- 2020 Nissan Qashqai Midnight Edition announced
- Blacked-out and colour-matched exterior highlights
- Black Alcantara appointed interior
- Priced from $35,900 plus on-road costs
The Qashqai Midnight Edition joins the ranks of previous special editions like the N-Sport and N-Tec, in what’s fast becoming an annual tradition for Nissan.
The Qashqai Midnight’s claim to fame is its night-themed styling overhaul which sees the exterior receive a gloss black version of the Qashqai’s V-motion grille, gloss-black 19-inch alloy wheels, plus gloss black finishes for the front and rear bumper blades, bodyside moldings, roof rail and mirror caps.

Other Midnight additions include illuminated sill plates in the front doors, auto-folding mirrors, darkened head and tail light internals, and LED headlights with adaptive front lighting. colour-matched body work takes the place of the regular Qashqai’s black plastics, on the sills bumpers and wheel arches, plus there’s a Midnight badge at the rear.
Priced from $35,900 plus on-road costs, the Midnight edition slots in between the $34,300 ST-L and flagship TI grade from $38,790.

Other carry-over Qashqai ST-L features include Nissan’s intelligent mobility safety quite including lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, intelligent emergency braking (AEB), and around view monitor 360-degree camera with moving object detection.
A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay and Android auto compatibility, integrated satellite navigation, digital radio, Bluetooth and voice recognition.
