More than 500 dealers have already filled in the Car Dealer Power Awards survey just two weeks after we launched this year’s gongs.

For the first time, Car Dealer will be holding the Power Awards digitally – but now is the time to have your say on who you like doing business with.

Already 500 dealers have given up two minutes of their time and told us what they really think of the car manufacturers they represent.

At a time when relationships are strained, dealers are telling us which manufacturers have been treating them well, and which have increased demands to unnecessary levels post lockdown.

Car Dealer Magazine has been flooded with emails and messages in recent days from fed up car dealers who say car manufacturers are going back to their old ways.

One said: ‘Pre reg is back on the table and they’re forcing cars down our neck again. They think it has all gone back to normal – well, it hasn’t.’

The Car Dealer Power Awards are the only ones in the industry voted for by those that matter the most – you the dealers.

Franchised dealers are asked to rate the manufacturers they represent in a variety of categories from how they support their dealer partners, their bonus structure and forward planning.

And on the voting form – which will take just a few minutes to complete – you can tell us which suppliers you love doing business with and why.

The car manufacturers take the results of our survey very seriously indeed and the anonymous poll is the only one voted for by car dealers.

Last year, Mazda took the number one spot as our Manufacturer of the Year to the delight of MD Jeremy Thomson.

After last year’s win, he said: ‘In uncertain times, it is only by working together that we can grow the brand, unlock profit potential and set the foundations for a stable and prosperous future – one that delivers an exceptional and premium customer experience to everyone.’
