Daughter of Hank Williams Jr. killed in Tennessee car crash

Katherine Williams-Dunning, the 27-year-old daughter of country music superstar Hank Williams Jr., was killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in Tennessee.

News 4 Nashville reported that Williams-Dunning was driving a 2007 Chevy Tahoe towing a boat that veered over the median of U.S. Highway 79 and rolled over.

Williams-Dunning’s brother, Sam, wrote about the crash on Facebook Saturday night. “My sister and brother in law have been In a terrible accident. Please pray for them so hard! Katie Williams and Tyler Dunning,” he wrote in one of two posts regarding the accident.

Williams-Dunning’s husband, Tyler, is hospitalized at Vanderbilt Medical Center. His condition is unknown. The crash remains under investigation. They are the parents of two children.

Katherine Williams-Dunning owned Weston-Jane, which designed clothing that lifted the moral of moms around the world.
