While many signature car events have been canceled due to coronavirus, one car show has found a way to hold the annual event while keeping safety precautions in mind. 

The EyesOn Design car show will be held June 21 (Father’s Day) as a drive-thru car show. Drivers can bring their car through the Eleanor and Edsel Ford home along Lake Shore Drive where EyesOn Design judges can evaluate the cars and select 16 from photos to enter as finalists.

The top 16 will go to social media to allow others to vote for the top 8 “Car I Most Want To Cruise In.” The winner of the 2020 pop up event show will receive an invite to the EyesOn Design 2021 show.

To keep in line with coronavirus safety precautions, drivers will remain in their car and all event staff and volunteers will be wearing face masks. 

Those interested in participating the event can sign up online, free of cost. The event will run from 2-4 p.m. June 21 on Lake Shore Drive between War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms and Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores.
