One person is dead and a second person injured after a crash occurred near Wegmans in Elmira Friday, according to Star-Gazette media partner WENY.

Just after noon, two cars crashed at the intersection of Clemens Center Parkway and Division Street in front of Wegmans. 

While the intersection was temporarily blocked off, the scene cleared around 12:30 p.m.
