KCK car show features hundreds of custom, classic vehicles

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More than 250 cars were on display Sunday during a socially distanced car show.

KC Showdown hosted the event outside the T-Bones stadium to support Next Step, a paralysis recovery center.

In addition to support Next Step, organizer Denny Eddy said the event shared another positive message.

“Everybody can get along,” Eddy said. “With everything going on in America right now, we need peace. What better way than to bring everybody to a car show? …I like to think that if everybody had a car show in their city we wouldn’t have a lot of the problems we have today.”

The event was free to attend.
