State Highway 1 north of Wellington reopens after two-truck crash
State Highway 1 has reopened after a two-truck crash which blocked it for more than an hour north of Wellington.
The crash happened on the highway, through Plimmerton, shortly after 11.30am on Monday, police said.
One of the vehicles, a furniture truck, rolled at the intersection of Pope St and SH1.
A second truck was parked up to the south, with damage to the front of its cab.

By about 12.35pm the truck had been hauled up back in its wheels by tow truck operators.
The highway was closed after the crash but NZTA said it opened again at 1pm.
There were no serious injuries reported.
